Wedoany.com Report-Sept. 1, Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon visited the Rogun hydropower dam construction site this week, urging the main contractor, Italy’s Webuild, to maximize efforts during favorable summer conditions. Located approximately 100 kilometers west of Dushanbe on the Vakhsh River, the project is set to become the world’s tallest dam at 335 meters upon completion.
