Wedoany.com Report-Nov. 29, HES Botlek Tank Terminal (HBTT) has secured a major long-term contract with a key customer that will allocate 65% of its total storage capacity exclusively to biofuels starting 1 January 2026. This commitment exceeds the company's original strategic goal of reaching 60% biofuels storage by 2028, achieving the target more than two years ahead of plan.
The agreement marks an important advancement in HES International's overall sustainability objectives and highlights the terminal's growing role in supporting the shift toward renewable energy sources. By providing dedicated infrastructure for biofuels, HBTT enables customers to meet increasing demand for lower-carbon fuels while maintaining efficient supply chains.

Additional investments currently under development will further expand capacity and operational capabilities, ensuring the facility remains prepared for continued growth in the renewable fuels sector. These enhancements reinforce HBTT's position as a preferred logistics partner for companies active in the production, trading, and distribution of sustainable energy products.
