Wedoany.com Report-Jan 02,Akselos has announced its collaboration with the engineering and technology group Sener on the DECIMAP project. This partnership aims to redefine the design and optimisation of the HiveWind floating offshore wind platform.

Akselos will provide its Reduced Basis Finite Element Analysis (RB-FEA) technology to conduct detailed fatigue and strength analyses for the HiveWind floating platform. The main goal of DECIMAP, a project led by Sener, is to develop a new floating foundation for offshore wind turbines. HiveWind is a semi-submersible floating steel platform developed by Sener in collaboration with WindWaves.
