Los Angeles-Area Wildfires Could Impact Gas Line to Southern Nevada

Wedoany.com Report-Jan 10,Clark County said that the fuel line service to Southern Nevada could be impacted by Los Angeles-area wildfires.

“As a result of the fires in California, Clark County Emergency Management is aware of potential impacts to the fuel line servicing Southern Nevada,” police said. “While we work with our public safety and regional partners to better understand this issue, Governor Lombardo and his team are working directly with California to mitigate any potential impact to fuel supply.”

Firefighters at the Pacific Palisades say the calmer winds Thursday are helping then tackle the series of devastating wildfires.

Law enforcement has reported at least five dead and multiple injured. Officials say 50,000 people are under a mandatory evacuation.

Las Vegas police also released a statement about fuel.
