Enercon Scoops 88MW Scots Turbine Order

Wedoany.com Report-Mar 8, Enercon has secured a turbine order with Fred Olsen Renewables for the 88MW Wind Standard 3 wind project in Scotland.

For the project, Enercon will supply and install 12 E-138 EP3 E3 4.26MW, optimised for a 4.5MW capacity, on 111 metre steel towers and eight E-115 EP3 E3 4.2MW on 67 metre steel towers.

Johan Terpstra, Enercon’s Head of Western Europe, said: “We are grateful for Fred Olsen’s trust and partnership, and we are looking forward to further strengthening this relationship by delivering what we have promised on this project.”

The 20-turbine 87.6MW wind project is being installed in Dumfries and Galloway and is expected to be commissioned in December 2026.
