This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Genesis Fertilizers’ plan to build Western Canada’s first low-carbon nitrogen fertilizer facility, focusing on sustainability, innovation, and support for local farmers. Thyssenkrupp Uhde has recently secured fertilizer sector contracts in Brunei, India, Egypt, and Canada.
Ammonia, a critical component in nitrogen fertilizer production, is central to sustainable agriculture. Thyssenkrupp Uhde’s advanced ammonia technology enhances energy efficiency, reduces emissions, and ensures reliable nitrogen output through a proven design. This technology supports Genesis Fertilizers’ goal of providing Western Canadian farmers with a steady, locally produced fertilizer supply.
