This marks a significant step forward in improving the performance, efficiency, and sustainability of 5G connectivity in the UAE.

The new Dual-Band MetaAAU combines two frequencies (2.6 GHz and 3.5 GHz) into a single unit, reducing the need for additional hardware and cutting power consumption by 35%. Energy-saving features such as symbol-level sleep further reduce energy use by 15% during periods of low traffic. This breakthrough in design not only enhances energy efficiency but also contributes to a greener, more sustainable network infrastructure.

This unit, which features 384 antenna units—double the capacity of traditional units with only 192—significantly improves coverage, boosting indoor signals and enhancing connectivity in high-traffic areas by 30 to 60%. Unlike conventional network setups that require separate installations for each frequency band, the integrated solution reduces the equipment footprint by 60% and cuts deployment time in half. This makes network rollouts faster and more efficient, accelerating 5G deployment across the UAE.

The Dual-Band 64T64R MetaAAU plays a critical role in the evolution of 5G and the transition to 5G-Advanced connectivity, which is vital for the UAE’s digital future.
