Wedoany.com News, January 5, 2026 – China Power Engineering Consulting Group East China Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. has received the Notice of Award, successfully winning the EPC turnkey contract for the Cotofereni Photovoltaic Project in Romania. The project is located in Cotofereni City, Dolj County, Romania, covering an area of approximately 198.1 hectares, with a total planned installed capacity of 154.7 MW AC.

This project is the first large-scale generation-side energy storage project currently being advanced in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It will be designed, supplied, and commissioned by Dongfang International. Upon completion, it will become key infrastructure for Bosnia and Herzegovina to enhance the power system's regulation capability, ensure stable power supply, and promote the large-scale integration of new energy, providing strong support for the safe and stable operation of the local new power system.
