Skanska Wins Two US Contracts Worth $323M

Wedoany.com Report-Oct. 14, Skanska has secured two U.S. contracts totaling $323 million, including a major mixed-use development in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, valued at $175 million.

The Bend is due to be completed in September 2027 in downtown Nashville

The Nashville project, named The Bend, will feature a 12-story residential tower with 261 units, multiple amenity spaces, and three underground parking levels. It will also include a nine-floor Moxy Hotel with 188 guest rooms, along with 1,600 square meters of retail and dining space. Ridgeline Development Partners is the client, and the project is expected to be completed by September 2027.

In addition, Skanska has partnered with Railroad Construction Company on a standby power generation facility for the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission in Newark, New Jersey. This facility will provide 34 MW of standby power to the Newark Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant during utility outages, ensuring uninterrupted operations.

Together, these projects demonstrate Skanska’s expertise in both large-scale urban development and critical infrastructure solutions.
