Wedoany.com Report-Mar 26, Qualitas Energy has acquired two onshore wind farms in Germany with a combined capacity of 29MW.
The first project is in Bavaria, while the other is in Saxony-Anhalt and at an advanced stage of planning.
After completion, the wind farms will supply a total of more than 19,000 households with sustainable energy.
The transactions join a series of acquisitions completed in recent months.
“Our acquisitions underline the high pace of investment and Qualitas Energy’s strong commitment to renewable energies,” said the company’s German chief executive Johannes Overbeck.
“Thanks to the continuous identification and securing of projects with high potential, we are strengthening our role as one of the key energy transition players in Germany.”
Head of investments Clemens Susen added: “The rapid development and repowering of wind projects is key to meeting the growing demand for clean energy.
“We are constantly looking for suitable investment opportunities and are acquiring projects of all sizes and stages of development.”
