The event will focus on key topics such as local manufacturing, component localization, and increasing in-country value, aiming to create a robust and sustainable hydrogen economy. The summit’s theme, “Hydrogen Management: Closing Gaps, Accelerating Action,” reflects Oman’s commitment to moving from planning to implementation, addressing regulatory barriers, and securing funding for hydrogen projects.

The summit is expected to attract over 3,000 participants, including decision-makers, investors, and research institutions, underscoring Oman’s growing influence in the clean energy sector. Birba Energy Services, the organizer, brings regional expertise and a proven track record in sustainable energy events. With a Memorandum of Understanding with GL Events, Birba aims to create impactful, policy-driven events across the Middle East and beyond.

This year’s summit will focus on reducing offtake challenges and unlocking financing, with a particular emphasis on practical solutions and strategic partnerships. By the end of 2025, Oman aims to accelerate the development of a competitive and cost-effective green hydrogen industry, contributing to global energy security and economic growth.
