Wedoany.com Report-Jun 11, On June 6, 2025, GAC Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of GAC Group, and Guangzhou Suikai Power Energy Corporation signed a strategic cooperation agreement at GAC Energy’s headquarters in Guangzhou, as announced on GAC Energy’s WeChat account. The partnership aims to combine the strengths of both companies to advance new energy vehicle (NEV) infrastructure and energy solutions.
GAC Energy, a key player in NEV energy systems, operates a nationwide network of charging and battery-swapping stations. Suikai Power Energy specializes in distributed photovoltaic systems and offers expertise in grid infrastructure, distribution network maintenance, and integrated energy services. Together, they plan to enhance the development of charging and battery-swapping facilities in residential areas, industrial parks, and transportation hubs.
The collaboration will explore innovative solutions, including integrated solar-energy storage-charging-discharging stations and virtual power plants. These efforts aim to connect charging networks, microgrids, and energy trading platforms, improving energy efficiency and accessibility. By merging GAC Energy’s advanced technology and operational capabilities with Suikai Power Energy’s regional grid resources, the partnership seeks to address consumer concerns about charging availability and support sustainable energy use.
The initiative aligns with Guangdong Province and Guangzhou City’s goals to develop the NEV sector and promote clean energy adoption. It supports broader objectives for sustainable energy by creating a high-quality, intelligent energy network. The partnership will also focus on smart charging, energy management, and vehicle-to-grid integration to enhance the efficiency and intelligence of energy systems.
GAC Energy’s CEO emphasized the collaboration’s potential, stating: “This partnership strengthens our ability to deliver convenient and efficient energy solutions for EV users while advancing sustainable energy infrastructure.” The joint effort aims to build an integrated “vehicle-charger-grid” system, offering a seamless and eco-friendly experience for electric vehicle owners.
Currently, GAC Energy’s network covers 202 cities across 31 provinces in China, with over 1,600 charging stations, 16,000 charging terminals, and 68 battery-swapping stations. This collaboration with Suikai Power Energy is expected to accelerate the expansion of this network, further improving access to reliable and sustainable energy solutions for NEV users nationwide.
