Wedoany.com Report-Sept. 1, Solar Organic Centro España S.L. is set to construct a photovoltaic (PV) panel and battery manufacturing facility in Socuéllamos, Ciudad Real, Spain. The project aims to bolster renewable energy infrastructure and create economic opportunities in the region.

The facility will utilize advanced Taiwanese technology, though specific details about the technology were not disclosed. The company plans to achieve an annual production capacity of 10 gigawatts, focusing on passivated emitter and rear contact (PERC) and n-type tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) monocrystalline panels. The production system is designed to manufacture modules measuring up to 2,500 mm by 1,400 mm.

On Thursday, provincial delegates for Sustainable Development and Public Works of Castilla-La Mancha, Casto Sánchez Gijón and Manuel Martínez López-Alcorocho, met with a company delegation led by Lorenzo Delgado to discuss the project’s progress. The regional government has prioritized the initiative, outlining a roadmap to streamline administrative processes and facilitate access to European funding. A government spokesperson stated: “This factory is the first phase of two additional projects linked to the initiative, which will bring significant investments that will translate into a significant number of jobs.”

Solar Organic Centro España S.L. is affiliated with Twelvoices SL, a company primarily engaged in real estate rental. Its core activities include manufacturing electrical materials and equipment, alongside secondary operations such as vine cultivation, product trade intermediation, and real estate services for third parties.

The Castilla-La Mancha government emphasized the project’s potential to drive economic growth through job creation and substantial investments. The initiative aligns with regional efforts to advance renewable energy and enhance sustainability. By establishing this facility, Solar Organic aims to contribute to the global transition toward cleaner energy sources.
