Wedoany.com Report-Oct. 13, Xpeng Aeroht, the flying car unit of Chinese EV maker Xpeng, announced on October 12, 2025 that it has secured orders for 600 units of its “Land Aircraft Carrier” flying vehicle in the Middle East, marking the largest overseas bulk order in the flying car sector to date. The announcement came during the company’s first international appreciation event held in Dubai, which also featured the first overseas public manned flight demonstration of the vehicle.

During the event, Xpeng Aeroht signed purchase agreements with UAE’s Ali & Sons Group, Qatar’s Almana Group, Kuwait’s AlSayer Group, and the UAE Chinese Business Council, bringing its total global order book to 7,000 units. The company also officially launched its international brand, ARIDGE, and announced that its Guangzhou manufacturing facility was fully completed by the end of September. This facility will support mass production and delivery of the “Land Aircraft Carrier” by 2026, making it the first mass-produced flying car in China and globally.
At the event, Xpeng Aeroht unveiled a hybrid long-range flying car under development, named A868, designed with a range exceeding 500 km and a maximum flight speed over 360 km/h. The A868 is expected to debut in Guangzhou this November.
The “Land Aircraft Carrier” is priced under 2 million yuan (≈280,000 USD) and features a 3-axis, 6-wheel design. With dimensions of 5500/2000/2000 mm (length/width/height), the four-seater vehicle can be driven with a standard C-class license. It uses an 800V silicon carbide range-extended power platform, offering a CLTC driving range of over 1,000 km and 6×6 all-wheel drive capability.
The flying module is stored in the vehicle’s trunk and can be charged when docked. Charging from 30% to 80% takes 18 minutes, and a fully charged and fueled vehicle supports 5–6 flights. The module features four propellers similar to a drone design, accommodates two passengers, and offers one-key automatic takeoff and landing, automatic navigation, and can be mastered within 5 minutes.
Xpeng Aeroht plans to enter the Middle Eastern market as early as 2027, leveraging this bulk order and public demonstration to establish its international presence. The company’s strategy focuses on mass production, affordability, and accessibility, aiming to make flying cars a practical and everyday mobility solution.
Overall, the Dubai event highlights Xpeng Aeroht’s ambition to lead the global flying car sector, combining automotive and aviation technologies in a commercial-ready format. The company continues to expand its footprint both domestically and internationally, preparing for the first generation of mass-produced flying vehicles to enter the global market.
