Etihad Airways, one of the UAE's two major national airlines, has been awarded the title of "World's Leading Airline Customer Experience" at the 2025 World Travel Awards.

Since commencing operations in November 2003, Etihad Airways has rapidly grown to become the UAE's second-largest airline, after Emirates. Its extensive network operates over 1,000 flights weekly, covering more than 120 passenger and cargo destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America. As of 2025, Etihad's fleet comprises 107 aircraft, including advanced models from both Airbus and Boeing series, providing passengers with a safe and comfortable flying experience.

Since its establishment in 1993, the World Travel Awards have been dedicated to recognizing excellence in the travel industry, often referred to as the "Oscars of the Travel Industry." The awards are voted on by both travel industry professionals and the public.
