According to Wedoany.com News, BP recently announced the establishment of a biofuel feedstock joint venture named "Etlas™" with the publicly traded agricultural company Corteva, with each party holding a 50% stake.

Etlas™ will utilize crops such as rapeseed, mustard seed, and sunflower seed to produce oils for manufacturing biofuels like Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Renewable Diesel (RD).

BP stated that the first products are expected to enter the market in 2027 for use in refinery co-processing and dedicated biofuel plant production. By the mid-2030s, the venture aims to achieve an annual production capacity of 1 million tonnes of feedstock, which can yield over 800,000 tonnes of biofuels.
