Rengo Subsidiary Tricor Opens Packaging Plant in Germany

Wedoany.com Report-Dec.2, Rengo Co., Ltd., through its subsidiary Tri-Wall Limited and its German unit TRICOR Packaging & Logistics AG, has officially started operations at a new heavy-duty corrugated packaging facility in Goch, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

TRICOR plans to employ more than 200 people.

The state-of-the-art plant covers a total floor area of 54,000 m² on a 166,000 m² site. It is equipped with fully automated internal transport systems, two automated warehouses, photovoltaic panels, and a cogeneration unit for energy efficiency.

The factory will manufacture and supply industrial-grade corrugated board and heavy-duty packaging solutions, serving customers across multiple sectors including automotive, chemicals, engineering, and electronics.

TRICOR Packaging & Logistics plans to create more than 200 local jobs, contributing to regional economic growth.

Tri-Wall Limited, headquartered in Hong Kong and led by global Chief Operating Officer Eiji Miyazaki, oversees the group's worldwide heavy-duty packaging operations. TRICOR Packaging & Logistics, based in Bad Wörishofen and headed by CEO Philipp Kosloh, specialises in both standard and custom corrugated solutions along with logistics services.

Rengo stated: "The operation of the new plant will enhance the supply system to deliver products more quickly and meet wider range of packaging needs in Europe. At the same time, this new plant further expands the Rengo Group's global heavy-duty packaging business."

The Goch facility significantly strengthens Rengo's European production and distribution network, enabling shorter lead times and greater flexibility for customers throughout the continent. It forms a key part of the group’s strategy to expand its international presence in high-performance industrial packaging.
