Wedoany.com Report-Dec.4, Tiger Group has scheduled a timed online auction of assets from the closed 210,000-square-foot Calhoun, Georgia facility of ACT Global Americas, Inc., a major manufacturer and installer of synthetic turf. The plant-closing sale, conducted as an assignment for the benefit of creditors, opens for bidding on December 4, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time and closes on December 11 at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time via SoldTiger.com.

The auction features a comprehensive range of manufacturing equipment, raw materials, finished inventory, rolling stock, and plant support assets previously used in the production and installation of artificial turf for sports fields, landscaping, landfill capping systems, and airport ground cover.

John Coelho, Senior Director at Tiger Commercial & Industrial, stated: "ACT Global Americas, Inc.'s former warehouse is full of useful machinery and equipment, rolling stock, inventory and plant support equipment. It’s a strong opportunity for other artificial turf manufacturers, textile companies or just those who are looking for great bargains on assets such as trucks, tractors, tools and landscaping inventory."

Key manufacturing and installation equipment includes a 2008 CMC half-gauge tufter with two-story creel, a 2022 Zhejiang Tianzhu yarn twister with minimal usage, an Allma/Saurer Technocorder twister, ATI PD96 3D laser grader, Jacobsen topdressers, and GreensGroomer turf brushes.

Raw and finished inventory comprises over 250,000 pounds of polyethylene yarn in various colours and deniers, more than 100,000 linear yards of primary backing, and over 475,000 square feet of landscape turf.

Rolling stock and material handling assets include approximately 30 late-model Ford, Chevrolet, and Dodge Ram pickup trucks, numerous open and enclosed trailers (some 2025 models), gooseneck trailers, two Kubota tractors, and forklifts from Linde, Clark, and Komatsu with capacities ranging from 5,500 to 8,000 pounds.

Additional items encompass turf sewing machines, portable generators, laser levels, powered hand tools, office furniture, and general plant support equipment.

The auction presents an opportunity for artificial turf producers, landscaping companies, textile manufacturers, and equipment buyers to acquire well-maintained assets at competitive prices following the facility's closure.
