The following conditions may be suitable for an Auditory Brainstem Implant (ABI):

1. Inability to undergo cochlear implantation (e.g., Michel deformity, primary auditory vesicle issues, cochlear aplasia, or other inner ear malformations)
2. Ineffective results after cochlear implantation (e.g., cochlear aperture deformity, narrow internal auditory canal, cochlear/nerve hypoplasia, or other issues)
