Nearly 21,000 train trips have been recorded, highlighting the port’s growing role in international trade.

Erenhot Customs currently oversees an average of 12 daily freight train movements. The port now supports 74 routes, linking more than 140 cities and stations across 10 countries in Asia and Europe. This extensive network facilitates efficient cross-border logistics, strengthening trade connections.

The cargo transported through these routes has become increasingly diverse. High-value goods, such as domestically produced vehicles, machinery, equipment, and electronic appliances, account for over 40% of total shipments. This shift reflects the growing demand for advanced manufactured products in global markets.
